TMT services were designed with you at the center

Personalized & Convenient

I have designed my practice to offer an individualized approach to each client. Your emotional wellbeing is my priority.

Weekday, weekend and evening video appointments are available to accommodate your schedule.

I can care for clients residing anywhere in the state of California.

If you would like to start services with me after our 15-min consult, I use a schedule that allows me to see new clients within 1 week.

Based on the Latest Medical Evidence

Optimizing mental health often requires a multifaceted approach with therapy, better sleep, more physical activity and medication.

I prescribe medications carefully and thoughtfully to enhance your ability to feel calm, positive and focused.

My background as a researcher allows me to implement best practices as soon as new information becomes available.

I can help connect you to a therapy provider (if desired) as I do not provide therapy as part of my practice.

Jennifer Brodsky

I have been a Nurse Practitioner (NP) since 2013 after training at the University of California San Francisco School of Nursing and Brown University.

Board Certified as both a Psychiatric Mental Health NP and a Family Medicine NP.

This holistic training allows for a comprehensive approach to your background and your goals - as well as a deep understanding of the ways that physical health and mental health are profoundly interconnected.

I look forward to partnering with you to help you feel like the best version of yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP)?

A Psychiatric NP is a registered nurse with 2+ years of graduate-level training in Psychiatry/Mental Health with a Masters Degree and National Certification.

Psychiatric NPs have a similar spectrum of practice areas as a general psychiatrist and can prescribe the same medications.

I am Board-Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (AANC) in Psychiatry/Mental Health and by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in Family Medicine.

What is unique about Tranquil Mind Telemedicine?

I want each client to get what they need - on a schedule and at a location that works for you. Too often clients are asked to run all over town or submit multiple requests to get basic tasks accomplished.

I look forward to:

  • Providing virtual appointments at times that fit into your schedule, including weekdays and some evenings and weekends.
  • Helping trouble-shoot problems quickly - this means getting your refill authorized at your preferred pharmacy ASAP and get back to you rapidly about other concerns.
  • Considering your needs as a whole person - not simply someone taking medication. I have been in practice since 2013 and have valued caring for patients long-term through diverse life stages and challenges. I see the stress - and barriers to receiving care - that people face in daily life and want to make receiving care as easy and accessible as possible.

Why doesn't your practice accept insurance?

I want to spend time providing excellent care for you rather than on the phone with an insurance company. Insurance companies pose several barriers to providing the personalized care that I want each client of mine to receive.

That said, I understand that finances are often a major life stressor. If cost is a barrier to getting the care you need, please message me so we can work toward a solution.
